Membership

Membership in the American Italian Heritage Society is the foundation to preserving Italian culture. A membership with our society includes a variety of activities, some of which include:

  • Monthly meeting are held for the membership with programs to enrich understanding of our ethnic culture. Food is usually served at the meetings.
  • Members have access to detailed maps of Italy so that they may find that very small village where nonna lived. Those with an interested in genealogy may utilize our materials and resources.
  • Holiday Activities feature the Epiphany Celebration, a family tradition centered on the religious aspect of Christmas; St. Joseph Day, a day of thanksgiving and giving to the needy; Carnivale, a majestic celebration with costume, fanfare, dinner and pageantry.
  • Our “special recipe” Italian sausage is made by members three time per year. This fund-raiser offer an opportunity for camaraderie among members and the sales are open to the public.
