35th annual La Festa Italiana
Labor Day Weekend 2019, Rain or Shine

Celebrate one of the Omaha area’s most beloved festivals this Labor Day weekend. Guests enjoy authentic Italian food, wine, beer, fireworks and dancing under the stars, at the American Italian Heritage Society home, il Palazzo on 132nd and Fort Streets.

$5.50 advanced purchase, $7 at the door
Children under 12 are free with an adult

Saturday, August 31st
Festival hours, 5 – 11 p.m.

Sunday, September 1st
Traditional Catholic Mass at 10:15 a.m.
Festival hours, Noon to 11 p.m.
Live band at 8 p.m.  Taxi Driver
Fireworks by Bellino 10pm

Limited handicap parking available onsite, first come, first served
Free parking at Kelley Fields 126th and Fort Streets. Free shuttle provided to the event. 

Fireworks Display
Celebrate the Festa with a bang on Friday and Sunday night with Bellino Fireworks.

Children’s Activities
Face painting, Italian cutouts for fun photos, balloon sculptors, a magician, painting easels, and bounce houses for both children and toddlers

Friday: local celebrity teams
Saturday: Open teams. Bring a team of 2 to 4 players. Win your game, you keep going. Winning team is last one standing.
Sunday: Three team challenge; Sons of Italy, Santa Lucia, and AIHS.

Italian Mass
A traditional Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, September 1st at 10:15 a.m. This Mass is partly said and sung in Italian.
