Throughout the year, the American Italian Heritage Society will hold a variety of different events. Check here or Facebook for the most up-to-date information on Events.
- Holiday activities feature an Epiphany celebration, St. Joseph Day, a day of Thanksgiving and giving to the needy as well as, Carnevale, a majestic celebration with costumes, fanfare, dinner and pageantry.
- Our special recipe Italian sausage is made by members three times per year. The sausage fundraisers offer an opportunity for camaraderie among members in preparing the sausage and the sales are open to the public.
- Spaghetti & meatball dinners for members, guests and friends, are held several times each year. This is a fundraiser and profits will be used to fund the upkeep of our building.
- La Festa Italiana, the society’s largest event and fundraiser held Labor Day weekend. It is a celebration of Italian culture, food and heritage.

ANNUAL MEMBERS SUMMER PICNIC
All AIHS members and their families are invited to our annual Summer Picnic
Sunday, June 2nd 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Rain or shine — Lunch will be served at 2:00 p.m.
- Complimentary sausage and peppers, hotdogs, snacks, beer, pop and wine will be served.
- Members are asked to bring side dishes, salads, appetizers, chips or desserts.
- We encourage kids of all ages to attend. Horseshoes and bocce balls will be provided.
- Feel free to bring kid games, baseball bats, balls, gloves, footballs or frisbees.
- Chairs will not be provided. Please bring lawn chairs, light tables, coolers or blankets.
- Il Palazzo 132nd and Fort Street “Festa Grounds” Enter on the South side.
